AOL Viewing Information
Why did I put those corrupted looking images on this site?
Well... I didn't!
AOL decided to speed up the time it takes to download images by recompressing (already compressed JPG images).
This results in a very degraded viewing experience for you.
Here's the fix (obtained from AOL Tech Support):

TURN COMPRESSED GRAPHICS OFF

Turning off COMPRESSED GRAPHICS will recognize the file as a format other than the .ART format.
1. Once at the AOL Sign On Screen click the MY AOL icon on the AOL Menu Bar.
2. Select PREFERENCES.
3. Click WWW.
4. Choose the WEB GRAPHICS tab.
5. Uncheck the box for USE COMPRESSED GRAPHICS.
